Snow Daze

Where do we live???

Ok I am seriously thinking we woke up in a different part of the US? Snow....snow....snow...! When the weather man says "I just don't know how much that area will get...." you know you can bet on staying in curled reading a good book and enjoying hot cocoa by your fire....sorry...started fantasizing about a life that does not exist with young kids and our fireplace currently has black garbage bags taped up because we have not got a new one yet and the chimney is designed to actually suck air out???? Anyway we CAN enjoy lots of fun snow activities and hot cocoa afterward!!! Maybe a good movie say Monsters Inc or The Grinch or Happy Feet??

We are also really enjoying the games we got for Christmas and the puppy and the toys toys toys toys....oh the toys toys toys TOYS!!! No child here can say they are bored....but who needs toys when mom has great candles on the end tables that look cool under kleenex (not lit) and a drawer full of plastic containers that are great for cooking anything from play food to crayons and small dinasaurs? Really who needs toys.....certainly not the Reitz kids!!!

Stay warm (those of you in the Midwest....but I hear those in other parts of the country are not much warmer so "Here's to more warm days for all of us!!!!" I sure wish I would not feel like a lush mother toasting to that with a glass of wine right now!!!

Alivia Reitz

Meet Alivia Reitz....she is now 21 months!!! Alivia is our sweet soul! Alivia enjoys dancing and singing and being just like her big sister Emma!! We see a bright future for that one as well! We enjoy seeing how the girls interact and just how much they learn from each other.

Emma Reitz

Meet Emma Reitz the oldest of the Reitz children. She is now four years old. She enjoys life and has a passion for books, baby dolls, bikes and being her larger than life self! She is our actress, drama queen and comedian.....we can't wait to see what the future brings for this one! We see white pillars in the nations capitol....or are we just proud parents? If you know her you know the answer to that one! Look out USA!

Welcome!!

Welcome to Reitzland where you can keep up to date on the happenings in our family and growth of our children and puppy! We also just updated a new home and practically gutted the inside! Although we are in there is more to come and pictures will be posted!!! We hope to keep friends and family who are out of town up to date and informed of *most* of what happens here...we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Bentley

We have a new and lovely addition to the family!!! Bentley Reitz joined us on January 2nd! Matt and I made a trip to Ohio in a slow storm no less to pick her up. We enjoyed the time together as driving 10 hours is the only way we are going to get it these days! We enjoyed the conversation and moments of complete white outs!! Nonetheless we made it home with our new baby and the girls (Emma and Alivia ) just love her!! We look forward to all the memories to come......the best memories we have to date are lots of peeing and pooping and chewing.....
